ABOUT ME:

I am honest to a fault. I say what I'm thinking and most people don't know how to take that. I do what I say I'm going to do and if it doesn't pan out, in the case of sales, I'll let you know what's happening. I live in a very peaceful rural area near the central Oregon coast. The weather here is perfect for me, usually never too hot and not too cold. Oh, we get a freeze from time to time but it doesn't last long. Our summer temps average about 75 degrees. People, who don't live on the coast, complain that it rains a lot but that's not necessarily so, it just seems when they want a day or week at the beach they choose a time when it's raining which is usually during spring break or June when they want a beach wedding. BTW the best time to have a mild temperature beach wedding is October.

I am a long time quilter, crafter, cross stitcher and homebody. I crafted for many years and sold in specialty boutiques long before I became a quilter. We then moved where I wasn't close to the boutiques so i took up quilting and did that with a passion for over 15 years and then I broke my wrist while gardening which resulted in severe nerve damage and my left hand just doesn't have the stablility to quilt or sew to any extent any longer. I've finally come to the conclusion at 81 years of age that I MUST clear out the sewing room of quilts, pillowcases, fabrics, books, patterns. It's a very hard decision to make which I'm sure most of you know the feeling after all it took years to accumulate all of these collections. NO, not "stash", they are collections so therefore I don't have to use them. That's about it for the quilts etc. Now what about the jewelry? Well.....

The amassing of imported costume fashion jewelry came when I was recovering from the broken wrist where I couldn't sew or cross stitch. I found myself on the computer at the auction websites and was fascinated with the low cost of the jewelry from China. So that led to buying, buying, buying and more buying. And you know what, I don't even wear jewelry so how dumb is that. Anyway, it's time to liquidate all of these jewels, over 900 items, yep, you read it correctly, over 900 items. Rings, ring sets, necklaces and sets, pins, brooches, animals in jewelry, western style. I set up shops on eBid, eBlueJay, eCrater, Westore and BuySell Community and many others along the way. Nothing sold very well when Temu came along and advertised on every site I have listings.
